The second-hand marketplace Shoppers Voice Anger Regarding Sizing Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
This online marketplace has updated its measurement guidelines for women's and children's garments but did not contact all users about the change.

Many shoppers and sellers have taken to social media saying Vinted listings now show a modified sizing category than originally posted because of the remapping.
The platform stated the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
They have suggested members to check their listings and manually change the size when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Size Classification Updates
Previously, the sizes had both numerical and alphabetical indicators, like S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter with a size spectrum like S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the sizing has been recategorised - such as a large size was formerly size 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
Shopper Stories
A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, located in Scotland, stated items she posted featuring size 14 markings were appearing on the platform as measurements 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they will likely be quite upset," she said.
Necessary Adjustments
Charlotte Lunn, from Derby, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the measurements for "each individual item".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, because of my ongoing medical condition and selling on Vinted has been paramount following partial earnings loss," she explained.
Service Background
The service features exceeding 100 million users, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has become a favored option to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time that an unexpected update on the platform has faced criticism: previously, the service retracted a modification to its shipping options after backlash from users.
